NEW TO PINE LEVEL BAPTIST CHURCH?

Among the seasoned members of PLBC, you can hear stories of the early beginnings of a group of believers gathering in a farm community to preach the Gospel under a brush harbor. This "lean to" made of branches and leaves provided the only shade for the preacher when the church got its start in 1886. However God would faithfully and steadily provide for His people. Over the decades the Lord saw fit to bring faithful men our way to serve, lead, and proclaim the Good News of Christ.

Now, PLBC offers Sunday School classes for all ages, a weekly Prayer Service, a Men's Bible Study, and a Preschool Program. It's humbling to consider how far God has brought this congregation! Pine Level Baptist has not forgotten our humble start and continues to pray for God's guidance as He maps our direction for the future.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We embrace a "come as you are" motto for any and all visitors. This means attire can be casual or dressy - you'll see both at our Sunday morning service. More important to us than how folks dress is the substance of our service: we believe the message and the music ought to be saturated with robust, Biblical theology. Our singing will be centered on both classic church hymns as well as new songs, so long as the lyrics point us to the true essence of the Gospel. Most preaching series are simply studies through a particular book of the Bible. This gives us the best method to grow in our knowledge of the Word and understanding of how to live.

You can Livestream our Sunday Worship Service via our Facebook page, though we much prefer you visit us in person if you're able. We believe for all those who are not providentially hindered there is great purpose and value in gathering together for fellowship and worship.
